Born in 1938.
Graphic Artist.
Active as a graphic designer for 60 years, with two of his representative works permanently housed in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Influenced by Bauhaus design education and inspired by his father, commercial artist Sui Yamada, and his mentor, graphic designer Yoshio Hayakawa, he has had a significant impact on many young graphic designers, providing them with refined inspiration and admiration.
Currently based in Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, and Ginza, Tokyo, where he continues to create graphic art and mentor emerging designers.
