Prada’s second Epicenter, designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron, opened in 2003. Inspired by the shapes of a crystal, this landmark building has radical impact on Tokyo’s cityscape. Its facade, comprising a diamond-shaped grid filled with hundreds of glass panels, offers unique views inwards of the products on display, and outwards across the city. This Epicenter provides a distinct condensed atmosphere of the Prada experience, displaying more products, in a wider variation.
