A unisex brand based in Brooklyn NY, designing “Clothing that connects the past and next 100 years, Clothing that goes beyond time and gender.”

For this season, despite all the fabric in the world, TANAKA’s focus is on the most adored fabric by all, Denim.
Through denim, the brand expresses the cycle of clothing. It’s birth (production), death (disposal) and reincarnation.

Even goods that may seem destined for disposal can be uplifted through the power of art and design. We hope to raise curiosity in people to learn about upcycling and consider what sustainability truly means at its core.
