エスパルト

スペイン南部、アンダルシアの日当たりの良い地域で栽培されている「エスパルト」は、古来より、戦闘用のカゴやロープの材料として使用されてきた、強力な天然繊維。今回の展示では、「エスパルト」を取り巻く文化のご紹介のほか、建設からインテリアデザインまで、現在も用途の開発が進むこの繊維の、新たな可能性を探ります。
