2021#Tokyo Scope is an installation designed by artist Akira Fujimoto and architect Yuko Nagayama. 2021# has mainly been led by Fujimoto since 2016, and symbolizes the thoughts on the Post 2020 Olympic and Paralympic city and even the greater future of Tokyo. In this exhibition, Nagayama proposed a concept where 2021 is expanding the urban context in Tokyo. It will be held at Avex Headquarters Building where districts of contrasting characteristics connects; the historical district around the Olympic stadium and the modern district of Roppongi Hills and Toyosu Bay. The urban axis at the site overlays with the time axis focusing on the 2021 and the post 2020 Olympic and Paralympic.
